What amenities are available on your wedding day?
Venue rental costs include: a minister if you choose (you can bring your own officiant), a soundperson, changing room with full length mirror for Bride if you aren't doing a first look prior to the ceremony and a small restroom. (Gratuities are encouraged for the chapel staff.) There is also a piano, CD player and sound system you are able to utilize.

Yes, just be sure that any decoration is removed from the chapel when you leave. (Be sure and check out the Thorncrown Chapel web site for specifics!)
Are food and drinks allowed on site?
No. Food or drink is prohibited, as well as using birdseed for your exit photos. Bubbles are only allowed in the parking area. (The stone floor and stone walkway can become slick from the bubbles and create a slipping hazard.)
Are same sex marriages allowed?
Please check with the Thorncrown Chapel. I have seen differing commentary on this topic.
Thorncrown Chapel was built in 1980 and won several architechtural awards over the years and is on the National Registry of Historical Places. The chapel was designed by E. Fay Jones who apprenticed for Frank Lloyd Wright and is in the Prairie School of architecture. The name of the chapel comes from a relic called the Crown of Thorns at a Gothic church in France called Sainte-Chapelle.
